2024 Jackson County Junior Fair Queen
My name is Natalie Donohew and I am your 2024 Jackson County Junior Fair Queen! I am the 18 year old daughter of Dustin and Tabi Donohew of Evans. I am in the direct admit pharmacy program at West Virginia University and this fall I will be sophomore. I'm in the honors college and have trained to become a peer mentor to incoming freshmen for the fall semester. I am a member of a Christian organization called Cru at WVU, and I plan to be part of the worship and leadership teams in the fall! I have been involved in 4-H for as long as I can remember and I had the opportunity to be chief of the Seneca tribe at camp this year! Fair week is a week I look forward to year round and I haven’t found an activity or event that I didn’t enjoy! The exhibitors at our fair put in so much work for their project and the support from the community makes it all worth it! My favorite part of the fair would have to be the Supreme Showman competition! This is where the winners of senior showmanship for each animal are all put in the ring and they have to show all of the different livestock species! I love watching this because I think it’s so amazing how knowledgeable the exhibitors in our county are! Learning about and how to show one market animal is a difficult task, so learning about and how to show 5 different animals is so impressive! I look forward to this event, along with every other event at the fair and I can’t wait to reign over the fair I love! I’m so grateful for this opportunity and hope to make Jackson County proud throughout my reign!
